Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to the https://www.skyrsoft.app website and your purchase and use of subscriptions to Skyrsoft products.
“Skyrsoft”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Skyrsoft Pty Ltd (ABN 66 701 451 578), the developer, provider and licensor of the software.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you purchase or use a Skyrsoft product, your use of that software is also subject to the applicable End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”).
1. The software and your licence
Skyrsoft products are self-hosted software that you install and operate on systems under your control.
Your right to install and use the software is governed by the applicable EULA, which forms part of the agreement between you and Skyrsoft. Free editions are licensed at no charge. Access to paid functionality requires an active paid subscription.
These Terms govern this website and your general relationship with Skyrsoft. The applicable EULA governs the installation, licensing and technical use of the software, including licence validation, warranties, liability and termination. Your order confirmation, licence key or subscription record governs the specific paid entitlements, quantities and pricing of your subscription. For a purchase made through this website, Paddle's Buyer Terms govern the purchase, payment, billing and Merchant of Record transaction. For a purchase made through another authorised Skyrsoft reseller, your agreement with that reseller governs the purchase, payment, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund of your subscription.
If there is any inconsistency concerning installation, licensing or use of the software, the EULA prevails to the extent of that inconsistency. If there is any inconsistency concerning your specific paid entitlements, your order confirmation, licence key or subscription record prevails.
2. Orders
Paid subscriptions ordered through this website are sold by our authorised reseller, Paddle. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for those orders and is the seller for the purchase transaction. The Paddle entity you contract with is identified in Paddle's Buyer Terms.
For those orders, Paddle is responsible for the purchase transaction, payment processing, invoicing, applicable transaction taxes, subscription billing, order-related customer service and returns, and the processing of refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply to the purchase transaction.
Paid subscriptions may also be sold by other resellers Skyrsoft has authorised. If you buy through one, that reseller is the seller, and the purchase, payment, invoicing, applicable taxes, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by your agreement with that reseller. Paddle's Buyer Terms do not apply to that purchase. No reseller may vary these Terms or the applicable EULA, or give any warranty, commitment or product claim on Skyrsoft's behalf beyond those Skyrsoft has expressly authorised.
Skyrsoft remains the developer, provider and licensor of the software and is responsible for the software, licensing, product support and the operation of its licensing service.
3. Subscriptions, renewal and expiry
Paid subscriptions bought through this website are annual subscriptions, priced and billed in advance in US dollars. Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected by Paddle depending on your location and tax status. For a subscription bought through an authorised reseller, its price, currency, billing, term, renewal and cancellation are as agreed with that reseller.
Unless cancelled before renewal, paid subscriptions automatically renew for successive annual terms. The applicable renewal price will be the price communicated to you before renewal, subject to any notice or consent requirements under applicable law.
You may cancel a subscription bought through this website through Paddle's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid subscription term, and you will not be charged for a subsequent renewal.
A paid subscription remains valid for its paid term. If the software cannot contact Skyrsoft's licensing service during that term, the licence is not revoked. The 30-day grace period described in the applicable EULA applies after the term ends. Once the paid term and that grace period have ended without renewal, the software reverts to the functionality of the applicable Free edition: it remains installed and operational at that level, and you are not locked out of systems managed through it. A renewed term is applied once the software has successfully validated against Skyrsoft's licensing service. These matters are further described in the applicable EULA.
Skyrsoft offers a voluntary 14-day refund on the initial purchase of an annual paid subscription through this website, as described in our Refund Policy. Those refunds are processed by Paddle. Refunds for a purchase through an authorised reseller are handled under your agreement with that reseller. Statutory consumer, withdrawal and refund rights, and any rights under Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy or your agreement with a reseller, apply independently of that policy.
4. Acceptable use of this website
You must not misuse this website, including by attempting to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorised access to systems or information, introduce malicious code, interfere with other users, or use the website in a way that infringes the rights of another person.
Security testing or vulnerability research relating to Skyrsoft's website or services must be conducted in accordance with the responsible disclosure process described on our support or security pages.
5. Intellectual property
Skyrsoft, the Skyrsoft logo, product names and associated branding are owned by or licensed to Skyrsoft Pty Ltd.
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content, including text, graphics, software, documentation and other materials, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any Skyrsoft intellectual property to you. Rights relating to the software itself are granted only as expressly set out in the applicable EULA.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
Warranties, disclaimers, limitations of liability and other terms relating specifically to the software are addressed in the applicable EULA.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where our liability may lawfully be limited, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply to you under the laws of your country or place of residence.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the beginning of these Terms identifies the current version.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
Changes will not retrospectively alter rights or obligations relating to completed transactions unless permitted by law.
