Refund Policy
Effective 15 October 2026
Skyrsoft products have a permanent Free Edition, so you can install and evaluate the software on your own systems before you buy. Paid subscriptions bought through our website are sold by Paddle, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. The Paddle entity you contract with is identified in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paddle processes refunds for those purchases.
This policy sets out Skyrsoft's voluntary refund commitment for purchases through our website. It applies alongside Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, which govern the purchase transaction, and it does not limit any right you have under applicable law (see section 4).
If you bought through another authorised Skyrsoft reseller, refunds, renewals and cancellation are handled by that reseller under your agreement with them, and sections 1 and 2 of this policy do not apply to that purchase. Sections 3 and 4 apply however you bought.
1. 14-day refund on your initial purchase
If you make a valid refund request within 14 days of the initial purchase of an annual paid subscription through our website, you will receive a full refund of that purchase.
A request is valid if it is made by or on behalf of the purchaser and provides enough information to identify the order, such as the transaction or order number or the email address used for the purchase. You can make it through Paddle's buyer support, or by emailing billing@skyrsoft.app, in which case we will arrange the refund with Paddle. Paddle returns refunds to the original payment method.
2. Renewals
Renewal charges are not automatically refundable, except where required by applicable law, by Paddle's applicable terms or refund policy, or where Skyrsoft agrees to a refund.
To avoid a renewal charge, cancel through Paddle's customer portal before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term. If a renewal is charged unexpectedly, contact us within 14 days of that charge and we will consider the circumstances.
3. What a refund means for your licence
A refund of a subscription's purchase or renewal charge ends your contractual entitlement to the paid edition for that term. An installation that can reach our licensing service will apply that change when it next successfully validates. An installation that remains offline may continue to reflect its existing paid entitlement until it next validates or until its existing paid term and applicable grace period expire.
The Product then reverts to Free Edition capability. It remains installed and operational at the Free Edition level, and it does not prevent access to systems you already manage with it.
4. Your statutory rights
Statutory consumer, withdrawal and refund rights apply independently of this voluntary policy, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and any mandatory law of your own jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies them. If the software fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy this policy does not otherwise provide.
5. Contact
Refund and billing requests: billing@skyrsoft.app, or through Paddle's buyer support. If you bought through an authorised reseller, contact that reseller.
